The motor speed can be variably controlled from a full stop to full speed and everywhere in between with the included twist throttle.

Wires between key switch and controller are 48 inches long.Two 12 Volt 15Ah batteries. The key switch is wired as the on-off power switch. When this kit is used with 12" (30cm) wheels the top speed is around 3 MPH, which is normal walking speed.
