This is a modification parts kit and requires custom installation of all parts.
This is a no batteries (NB) kit. We also have this kit available With Batteries.
The toggle switch has 48" of wire so it can be mounted on the front of the Dune Buggy if wanted. This wire length can be shortened on request.
The chain with master link in this kit is oversized and will need to be shortened to the correct length after the motor is installed.
Two pieces of 1/4” threaded rod that are bent into a U shape can be used to install the motor without needing to modify the frame’s motor mount. 1/4” ID vinyl tubing can be placed over the threaded rod to help it grip the motor better and prevent scratching it.
A different version of this kit can be special ordered with a motor that has a mounting base if you prefer to modify the frame's motor mount or make a motor mount adapter instead of using threaded rod.
