Please note that our 48 Volt 1000 Watt motor is too long to fit in the
MX500, MX650, and SX500 frame and would require metal fabrication and
welding to install. This kit is sometimes used to overvolt the original
motor, however, depending on riding conditions overvolting the original motor may cause it to run hotter than normal which may decrease its lifespan.
We install matching connectors on every part of this kit and label them so all you have to do is plug the parts together.
This MX500, MX650 and SX500 modification kit is electronically 100% plug-and-play however it does require custom mounting of the controller and batteries.
