This MX500, MX650, and SX500 upgrade kit is 100% plug-and-play, and the motor is installed on the bike without any frame or body modifications. The speed controller's mounting holes are in different places from the original speed controller's mounting holes, so it needs to be custom mounted.
This kit does not include batteries.
