- This kit is made for American Engines PedalPower Cycle Chair Tricycles that have their original motor. This kit does not include a motor.
- This is a modification kit that requires custom installation of all parts. The installer needs to have good electrical wiring skills and an understanding of how to custom install electrical parts to be able to safely install this kit.
- If the Cycle Chair has a hoop style handlebar then it will need to be replaced with a high rise bicycle handlebar to be able to install the throttle and reverse switch.
- The SWT-23 handlebar mount switch with red button is wired as the reverse switch and the key switch on the throttle is wired as the main on/off power switch.
- Throttle and reverse switch extension cables are included with this kit so there is 9 feet of wire between these parts and the controller.
- The battery charger port will have 36 inches of wire and terminals that will mount to the batteries. (wire length changeable upon request)
- The batteries in this kit are heavy so this kit weighs around 55 pounds.
