Battery Pack Information: These 12 Volt
LiFePO4 batteries are not a direct replacement for 24 Volt, 36 Volt, 48
Volt, 60 Volt, or higher Voltage battery packs made with 12 Volt lead-acid
batteries. They can be wired in series to make a higher Voltage
battery pack, however, they can not be recharged in series. When used in
a series wired battery pack they need to be individually recharged with one
14.6V lithium battery charger per 12 Volt battery.
More Information
These 12 Volt LiFePO4 batteries have a higher maximum continuous discharge current rating than
our 24 Volt, 36 Volt, or 48 Volt LiFePO4 batteries with the same Ah rating so a smaller battery pack with a higher
maximum continuous discharge current can be made from them. However, if one
of our 24 Volt, 36 Volt, or 48 Volt LiFePO4 battery packs has a high enough
maximum continuous discharge current rating for your application then we carry 24 Volt,
36 Volt, and
48 Volt LiFePO4 battery packs that
can be recharged with a single battery charger.
Maximum Discharge Current
Information: This
12V 15Ah LiFePO4 battery has a maximum continuous discharge current rating of
30 Amps (30A).
Battery packs wired in series have the
same Ah rating as the individual batteries that the pack is made with. For example:
-
A 24 Volt battery pack made from 2 of these batteries has a
30 Amp maximum continuous discharge current. (24V x 30A = 720 Watts)
-
A 36 Volt battery pack made from 3 of these batteries
has a 30 Amp maximum continuous discharge current. (36V x 30A = 1080 Watts)
-
A 48 Volt battery pack made from 4 of these batteries
has a 30 Amp maximum continuous discharge current. (48V x 30A = 1440 Watts)
-
A 60 Volt battery pack made from 5 of these batteries
has a 30 Amp maximum continuous discharge current. (60V x 30A = 1800 Watts)
